... has been a member of the Sisters of St. Francis of Philadelphia since 1963.
She has her Masters of Arts in Teaching from Lewis and Clark College in Portland, OR and her Masters in Applied Theology from the Graduate Theological University in Berkeley, CA.
She taught mathematics and religion in secondary school for 26 years.
Since 1996 she has been ministering as a spiritual director and coordinator of spirituality programs in the Portland, Oregon area and other places in the United States.
In 2005 she completed her certification as a labyrinth facilitator through Veriditas. In 2006 Sr. Mary Jo completed an internship in the Art of Supervision of Spiritual Directors at Mercy Center in Burlingame, CA.
She is presently employed at the Franciscan Spiritual Center in Milwaukie, OR.
